Journey to the Lin's
Wake up around 6am, took the early train to chinatown to queue up for the famous lin zhi yuan ba gua this morning. The queue is sick. I wonder why singaporeans are so sick. Everyone doesnt mind waiting 4 - 6 hours just to get our hands on the $48/kg bbq pork. haha talking about myself anyway=p. I arrived around 730am in the morning and the queue is already snaking out towards macdonald=/
Lucky 1 person is only entitled 20 KG of pork. I even see this fucking indian-eurasian couple buying the full 40kg of pork they can get. What is this man? New way to celebrate deevapali? Imagine if everyone purchase 20 KG of meat. Poor people who just happen to came late must wait even longer liao loh. No wonder the queue can take me 4 hours. Fucking people just doesnt know how much angry mobs are behind them waiting while the busy storekeeper are packing their 1 year meat ration.
Finally got my 3kg ba gua, which is after faithfully waiting for 4 and a half hours. When i finally get to see who many people who are still queueing, it even manage to stretch to the other end of the bridge. Goodness!

Phat Thai what's this food?
Was at jurong entertainment with doug and kc on the weekend when i saw this menu on one of the foodcourt stall banner.
Bad memories of this stupid food came back into my mind.
2 months ago, qm and i went thailand with her family on a 4 days 3 night trip where we are supposed to enjoy the fruitful trip. Then, during one of the night, we are having dinner in one of the cafe selling what they call it "authentic thai cuisine". Feeling we are gonna finally taste the original thai food people are craving for, we went in and order our meal. When one of us asked about what is "phat thai", the stupid-act-clever waitress instantly say pineapple rice. -.-".. which turned out to be fried thai kuay tiao. Eventually qm's auntie sibei dulan, have a big quarrel with the waitress and spoiled that eventful night.
Please la thai people, dont act as if you know english when you only know how to say "yes" and "no" ok? You will make people order wrong food leh.

Still have much reserve about this new os. I mean, new os always got so many new bugs and so many new unforseen runtime error. And worse is i dont know if it will work on Visual Studio 2005 which i planning to get.
But hey vista comes with a totally new graphical platform which is pretty similar to apple's design. And best is, parents now can control the type of website your kids can visit. Uncheck on the "porn" option and ta da! your kids cant serve porn! =)
